Antes de que “la nube” fuera una palabra cotidiana, 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 ya exploraba una idea poderosa: muchas máquinas, un solo entorno.

Desde hace 30 años no se veía una instalación clúster de Sprite, hasta que el usuario @spijdar hizo lo impensable. Aún trabaja en ello.

On the one hand, it's great that the GNOME Circle thing is taking a stand on generative AI. On the other hand, that thing prohibiting large amounts of unnecessary code in particular is quite funny because if there's one thing GNOME is not exactly renowned for, it's clean, unbloated codebases.

I love his style of writing as well!

Where there's a lineage or evolution, I really like to start as close to the origin as possible (or at least read about it). It gives context for what's come after and I find gives me a better intuition for things.
