𝗧𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲–𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 – 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁

Just a short distance from Rome, the landscape suddenly feels wild. Reeds moving in the breeze, the quiet flow of the Tiber, and wildlife constantly appearing along the riverbanks.

Guided by Alessandro on behalf of Nature of Sal, our international group explored the protected wetlands of the Tevere–Farfa Nature Reserve — a hidden sanctuary where nature quietly thrives.

One of the highlights of the day was drifting along the Tiber in a small boat, seeing the reserve from a completely different perspective. Surrounded by water, birds, and silence, it felt like discovering a secret corner of Lazio.

At the same time, with another group, Sal guided a hike along the urban stretch of the Tiber in Rome, an important wildlife corridor within the city.

By the way, #China is just starting construction of the largest hydro power plant in #Tiber worth 170 billions USD. Meanwhile in the UK:

So, please kindly make your mind - either you want new large-scale public infrastructure projects, or you don’t 🤷
