🇭🇺🇸🇰Hungary and Slovakia are threatening to stop electricity imports to Ukraine if the transit of Russian oil via "Druzhba" is not restored.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has given until Monday to restore transit; otherwise, he will ask Slovak companies to stop emergency electricity supplies. According to him, there were more such supplies in January alone than in all of 2025.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also did not rule out that his country would stop supplying electricity to Ukraine.
The transit of oil through "Druzhba" via Ukraine stopped at the end of January due to massive Russian attacks. Hungary and Slovakia, which are landlocked, are critically dependent on this route.
