Thinkpad with Thunderbolt 4 > CalDigit TB3 Plus dock > UGREEN Revodok Pro connected to the CalDigit's downstream TB3 port. 4k TV (120Hz capable) plugged into that via HDMI.
In 1920x1080 mode, I can go up to 120 Hz.
In 4k mode, I can't go any higher than 30 Hz.
If I plug the UGREEN Revodok Pro directly into the Thinkpad's other TB4 port, I can specify 60Hz, but I get screens like what you see here.
The Revodok also has two devices plugged into downstream USB3 ports: a microphone and a speaker.
I'm using #Fedora42 with #KDE Plasma 6.4.2.

KraigI've got a couple of the #OWC #TB4 1M2 enclosures.
When someone (probably OWC) makes a #TB5 version that is bus-powered and fanless -- probably well after I get a new Studio next year -- I'll put my existing nvme sticks in there and hopefully be ready to roll?
The expensive part of my currrent setup was the #nvme, not the 1M2, which were/are surprisingly affordable for the performance.

You can set it up striped/mirrored, and it has a fan to keep them cool. It has USB3.1 type-a and USB4 type-c ports for regular hub stuff, and even has a full-size HDMI port for docking to a monitor.

Chris Geoghooligan ✊Laptop (#Dell #Latitude 5440) has 2 #Thunderbolt4 ports. I think I could connect the #U2724DE via #TB4 & daisy chain 1 of the P2722H's, & connect the other #P2722H to the other TB4 port, greatly simplifying the hot mess of cabling I've got going on.
Unfortunately, I've spent hours looking for confirmation on this and can't find anything definitive.
It's a long shot, but does anyone know if this would work?

I was hoping we **finally** see #Thunderbolt *4* external storage with multiple #nvme slots.
But apparently no one wants to make these as I’ve been waiting for *years*. WTAF?
We are just barely seeing single slot drives, and still very rarely #TB4.
Whoever is the fault of this (#intel??) is infuriating…

My #TurtleBot4lite arrives today! I participated in the #iRobot #Create3 beta (via #simulation,
they didn't gift me with hardware), so I am familiar with the #robot's lower level #topics, #services, and #actions.
My #ROS2 #Galactic #Ignition #Gazebo crashes loading the default #TB4 world.
And TB4 comes up half embedded in an obstacle in the maze world, but managed #dock, #undock, #wallfollow and to drive the TB4lite around with a #teleop_twist_keyboard node.
