Endlich vernünftig arbeiten! Mein altes Dell TB16 Dock wurde vom neuen Laptop leider nicht ganz korrekt erkannt. USB-Geräte schon, aber ein Bild war dem Dock leider nicht zu entlocken. Zumindest nicht auf den DisplayPort Schnittstellen.

Weil das Dock sowieso eher unzuverlässig war und schon relativ betagt (und laut!) war, habe ich mir ein gebrauchtes Dell WD22TB4 bestellt.

Anstecken - läuft. Hoffentlich bleibt das so.

Since then, we noted that RTL8127-based M.2 and PCIe 10GbE cards had already launched for as low as $35. However, a new X post by Jeff Geerling reminded me it was time to check on those RTL8159 10GbE to USB 3.2 adapters. So let's do that now, starting with the Wisdpi WP-UT9 mentioned in the post/tweet. A 19“ rack enclosure - I think 3-5 HUs - that can house multiple #MacMini or #MacStudio computers, with active cooling. They could offer it as well in a ½-width version for #HomeLab purposes. This would provide 3rd-party extensibility via #rackMounted #ThunderBolt devices.
