While useful things end up being talked about, extended standup meetings are a bummer.

I wish that standup meetings were actually just standup meetings: give a brief update, ask for help if you need to, end it afterwords.

Note: I have a bias against having meetings at all when dealing with software IC work, so grain of salt here.
