Just hit 5K on the e-bike in 26 months (including 11 weeks no cycling post knee op). It's been such a pleasure to have this Orbea Katu for all sorts of trips in that time.

We’ve never ordered anything from #Amazon (no shade to those who have no other option). We prefer to #BuyLocal, and we lament the closure of many local stores (e.g., we remember when there were 4 locally owned office supply stores nearby—now 0). Most of us are compelled to shop big box stores now.

A local #Target store was opened for years before we succumbed to occasional Target purchases. We do appreciate their drive-up / bike-up option to pick up our purchases—no need to enter the store!

We’re also grateful that a friend who no longer used these Ortlieb panniers gave them to us on “permanent loan."

DMC is in city of Monterey. The city’s bike-aware leaders, e.g., Mayor Tyller Williamson and Council Member Gino Garcia (whose day job is working for Ecology Action of Santa Cruz / Lets Modo) may be unaware that we formerly had in that Shopping section of the Tips guide a detailed map listing all Del Monte Center bike rack locations. Their ED at that time himself biked to work! Why is that detailed map no longer in our guide?
