Wenn man am Eidersperrewerk von der Aussichtsplattform runterschaut, sind dort dicht an dicht solche Szenen. Hier wird gerade ein kleiner Fisch als Geschenk überreicht.
Die Küstenseeschwalbe hat hier übrigens die südliche Grenze ihres Brutgebiets. Die meisten gehen im Sommer lieber in die Arktis.

White-winged Black tern in partial breeding plumage; back and front views of the same bird. It was a challenge to photograph due to it's erratic flight and proximity. Fortunately the bird (and it's compatriots) made repeated laps of the same area of pond to feed on insects blown onto the water's surface.
Location: Western Treatment Plant, 40km south-west of Melbourne (Victoria, Australia).
