me giving my first reading in the Japanese language last week.

I read the first third of my latest short story, Photo Bomber (「フォトボマー」), which appears in the anthology Fear and SF (恐怖とSF), published last month by Hayakawa. The event, held at @sumika_tankyu in Kamakura this past Wednesday afternoon, was a spontaneous addition to the Kamakura Poetry Festival. I opened for poet Robert Priest and singer-songwriter Kai Shimizu.
