Galaxy Watch4, Watch5, Watch6, and Watch FE receive the May 2026 security patch update
Samsung distributed the February 2026 update to the Galaxy Watch6, Watch5, Watch FE, and Watch4 series, which came after the One UI 8 Watch update that was released last November. Since then, Samsung started rolling out the May 2026 security patch update that makes your Galaxy smartwatch more secure.
This was done on a quarterly basis according to the security patch rollout timeline that you can read here. This update only provides security fixes to your Galaxy smartwatch.
Currently, this update is only available in Korea, but the rollout should commence worldwide as early as next week to ensure that your Galaxy smartwatch becomes more secure. The update size is fairly small at almost 150 MB.
