@paulywill Thanks so much! I mainly feel relieved to be reclaiming my health and fitness. I haven’t actually been “dieting “, so the results are a very pleasant surprise for me.
My own #adhd has interfered with achieving a lot of my goals, but I’m learning the many benefits of habit formation. Gamification works extremely well for me, so the #AppleWatch has been a gamechanger.

Or you could use an existing app like MyNetDiary. I like that they have nutritional info about a wide range of foods, and you can scan the barcode if you're eating anything from a package. I'm down 20 pounds since the fall, and I only started logging food to see what the nutrition is. Still, behaviour that is observed will frequently change. I also credit my #AppleWatch for getting me off my butt every hour, and gradually, I've rebuilt an exercise habit.

I know this about myself, so I made the excellent decision to get an #AppleWatch in the fall, in the hopes of getting nagged into better condition. It's working beautifully so far, as various markers in the health app are demonstrating. I'm especially pleased about cardio recovery and VO2 Max. Very clear trends are evident.
I later returned to using the MyNetDiary app to track my daily food intake without clear goals. 20 pounds have since moved out of my body.

My replacement battery in my Apple Watch seemed to be having issues, so I got another replacement. Last night, my watch completely died and also refused to charge, so I figured this morning I’d go ahead and install the new replacement. Unfortunately my repair was a failure, as the battery connector came off with the battery. Unfortunately it requires a level of micro soldering skill that I do not possess to fix. So now I have a broken Apple Watch and a spare battery for it 🙃
I wonder if it was already damaged and became dislodged internally last night, and that’s why it wouldn’t charge…
