Looking over the NE 130th St Light Rail station, which is scheduled to open in two years.
Gestern habe ich eine Testfahrt mit einem S-Pedelec von #Stromer gemacht. Getestetes Modell: Stromer #ST5 mit Kette, ABS und 983 Wh Akku von stromvelo.ch. (Ich wollte eigentlich den #ST3 testen, aber der war gerade nicht verfügbar.)
Gefahrene Route: Einmal um den oberen Zürichsee, mit Abstecher auf den Etzel (durchschnittliche Steigung 11%, maximale Steigung fast 16%). Total 54 km, 850 hm.

Once again, there's corpo-political BS going on with light rail. Seems that under some Amazon influence, the ST board is aiming to go against their own staff recommendations for the CID station location. Apparently, Amazon is concerned about their drivers being slowed down by construction. Screw that!

81% of likely February 2023 special election voters in Seattle support light rail to Ballard and West Seattle, which is in design. Sound Transit would be wise to keep that in mind when making alignment decisions that our region will have to live with for decades.
