SeattleSwiftieSo, I'm annoyed at #soundtransit and their decision around #st3 and the future of #lightrail in #seattle . Luckily, humans can be nuanced, so I have many conflicting emotions. A #thread of a few of them:
The entire #st3 right now is an absolute shitshow. The worst part isn't that Ballard is on haitus either, it's that they proved the conservatives right, giving them full access to scream "boondoggle" back at us, and that's what really grinds my gears. That the most predictable issue happened, and seemingly they waited until just now to address it.

Gefahrene Route: Einmal um den oberen Zürichsee, mit Abstecher auf den Etzel (durchschnittliche Steigung 11%, maximale Steigung fast 16%). Total 54 km, 850 hm.

Once again, there's corpo-political BS going on with light rail. Seems that under some Amazon influence, the ST board is aiming to go against their own staff recommendations for the CID station location. Apparently, Amazon is concerned about their drivers being slowed down by construction. Screw that!
