BART trains are about 90 feet long (based on 10-car platforms that are about 900 feet long) and currently runs most trains at 6 cars each, with the red line (Richmond-Millbrae) running 8 cars on most trains during rush hour and the yellow line (SFO-eBART transfer station) running 9 cars all day (I think).
