A red string put up by #Israeli settlers demarcated the border of what was stolen from him in Deir Ammar, a #Palestinian town around 17 kilometers northwest of Ramallah in the occupied #WestBank. The settlers had recently established a new outpost in the area named Ramataim Zofim.

“Everything is legal—I have permits—but it makes no difference. A settler comes and simply says, ‘This is my land. You have no place here,’” Badaha said.

Israel’s Knesset (Parliament) has approved a new law establishing a special legal framework to prosecute the Hamas terrorists that participated in the October 7 massacre, with lawmakers voting 93-0 in favor during the bill’s final readings.

The legislation creates a dedicated military tribunal expected to operate in Jerusalem and allows courts to impose the death penalty for the gravest offenses, including acts classified as genocide or crimes against humanity.

The law also includes a provision barring convicted perpetrators from ever being released, including in future prisoner-exchange deals.

"The reserve army will collapse into itself," he added, according to i24news.

Zamir warned MPs that after nearly three years of war on multiple fronts, the #military is facing a severe manpower shortage that could undermine future operations.

Last fall and winter, senior Israeli diplomats urgently contacted officials and television broadcasters across #Europe to address a delicate, if unexpected topic: the high camp #EurovisionSongContest.

Broadcasters wanted to ban #Israel from Eurovision and threatened to #boycott the contest over the war in #Gaza. Some even accused the Israeli government of unfairly influencing the results through a mass voting campaign.

Israel arguably had bigger diplomatic concerns than a pop music competition, even one that reaches 166 million viewers around the world. A United Nations commission had recently accused Israel of committing genocide, which it vigorously denied.
