Five pro-#Palestinian activists have appeared in court over an attack on an #Israeli arms company in #Germany, charged with causing approximately €1m of damage.

Prosecutors say the defendants, aged 25 to 40, trespassed and yelled pro-Palestinian statements as they destroyed office equipment, sensitive measuring devices and smashed windows at a site linked to #ElbitSystems in the southern city of Ulm.

The activists published videos online in which they claimed responsibility for the attack, which they said was aimed at drawing attention to Germany’s support for #Israel and its #military actions in #Gaza.

#AvrahamZarbiv is one of 14 people chosen for their “extraordinary contribution to society and the state”, alongside a scientist, a Michelin-starred chef, a leading doctor, members of the security forces and entrepreneurs.

A reservist who drives an armoured bulldozer, Zarbiv rose to prominence through videos documenting his personal campaign of destruction in #Gaza, often accompanied by inflammatory rhetoric.

“You will have nothing left,” he declares in one voiceover, as the camera pans across a landscape of shattered buildings. “We will flatten you and destroy you.”

Swedish climate activist #GretaThunberg is the world’s second most dangerous antisemite, several spots ahead of #WhiteNationalist #NickFuentes, according to a new report from the #Israeli government.

As evidence of Thunberg’s antisemitism, the Israeli government pointed to her use of “terms such as ‘genocide,’ ‘siege’ and ‘mass starvation’ in reference to Israeli actions in Gaza.”

Many of these views are well within the American mainstream. A Quinnipac poll from August found that half of American voters believe that Israel is committing a genocide.

Two shipments from #Britain of #military components bound for #Israel have been seized in #Belgium, which has banned aircaft carrying military equipment for Israel from stopping in the country or using its airspace.

Last month, the British news website Declassified, Belgian NGO Vredesactie, Irish news website The Ditch, and the Palestinian Youth Movement alerted authorities in Brussels of a shipment travelling from Britain to Israel through #Liege airport.

The consignments left Britain on 23 March and were seized at Liege airport in Belgium on 24 March.

Over 200 people have been arrested central #London on Saturday at a mass demonstration opposing the #UK government’s proscription of the direct action group #PalestineAction.

Some 500 protesters set up camping chairs at the foot of the steps of Trafalgar Square, displaying handmade cardboard signs reading: “I oppose #genocide, I support #Palestine Action.”

The demonstrators were met with a heavy police presence, with vans lining the square hours before the vigil began.
