Day 13 of #Brompton #Spring #Cycling tour: Noirmoutier-en-l'Île -> Pornic (58 km, including, to leave the Noirmoutier #island ,the famous "Passage du Gois" ,a road submerged by the #sea most of the time and only passable twice a day for around two hours at low tide, as well as a #surprise encounter in the middle of #nowhere with an indefinable multi-tasking #cycling #machine .

Wieder zu Hause, nach 1.418 km und unerwartet viele Höhenmeter sind wir nach einer kleinen Runde von Lüneburg über Plau, Rostock, Usedom, Berlin und Wittenberge wieder zurück. Viele Eindrücke, abwechslungsreiche Landschaften und viele regionale Essen und Biere. Eine der Regionen werden wir jetzt auswählen, um im Septemberurlaub dort von einem festen Standort die Gegend zu erradeln.

For routing I compare #Brouter.de or #Bikerouter.de with #Cyclers.app , for *offline* navigation I use Cyclers.app (as in this case) or Naviki.org .

@mattchete With brouter.de /bikerouter.de as well as cyclers.app routing is very much configurable, while in Komoot it is not really. For instance, I need to figure out routes with no or very low car traffic and mostly paved. Cyclers provides you even several options for each route. As far as *offline* navigation (on a mobile phone without connection) is concerned Cyclers.app and Naviki.org are both better than Komoot. The only comparative advantage I see in Komoot is its large social network.
