It looks a little bit like a desert (one with a lot of water😂), but it is the beach at Cacela Velja, a small coastal town in Portugal, photographed in February 2026. At low tide, the beach is very wide and you can walk very far out to sea, or you can walk along the beach all the way to Monte Gordo. Just be careful to be near a staircase leading up when the tide comes in.
