Mastodawn

The period between the summer and the autumn is always great for foggy mornings. When there's a little wind, the fog will not thicken and will pass in small strokes of damp. In Drenthe we'll call them "Witte Wiefen" (white wives), like the old stories. The white wives will lure passants into the unknown, never to be seen again…
Fortunately, I made it out of these ones ;)

My last post about the blooming heather (for now ;) ). This wasn't even a great day for photography. There were grey clouds in the sky and hardly any sun. Still, I wanted to go out there. Once on the spot the sun broke thru and I can capture this. It was the best moment of the day.

Yet another one takeen with the blooming heather. This tree is one that I would like to photograph, ones the fog is good and the sun is rising.
Till this day I still didn't managed to make that shot. So for now this is the picture. I'll remember this for another time and hope you can enjoy that picture as well.

Heather season is here! Finally, the heather is blooming. The weather this season was great for nature, like a perfect mix of temperature, moist and sunshine. Where most people will take pictures of the great plain heatherfield I lost myself in the smaller elements. This was a great day for visiting this spot.

In one of my favourite spots its almost time for heather season. This moment I looked if the heather is blooming or not. I never got that far because the circumstances where just fabulous! After hours of fun in nature I checked, and it's almost time for blooming heather. So keep my social in focus for the updates.

Sometimes it's really hard in the forrest to find an intresting spot when all is green. At this path there was a puddle of light hitting the ferns. So I managed to take an all green photo where the subject is really standing out. At least that is what I think. Do you agree?
