Surgem novos Detalhes da Série de ROBOCOP da Amazon

O site World of Reel divulgou novos detalhes sobre a série da franquia Robocop, que está sendo desenvolvida pela Amazon MGM Studios. O cineasta James Wan, além de ser um dos produtores executivos, também dirigirá os episódios mais importantes. As filmagens iniciarão em janeiro de 2027 em Vancouver, no Canadá, com duração prevista de seis meses. A trama apresentará um novo policial cibernético, o soldado Marc Kyle, que morrerá em combate antes de ser transformado em ciborgue. Depois disso, ele passará a atuar sob a orientação de Alex Murphy, o personagem vivido por Peter Weller no filme original de 1987. Peter Ocko será o principal roteirista, showrunner e co-produtor executivo da série, que ainda não tem previsão de lançamento.
