We missed our last two fortnightly #P1e #Ustalav games (20 Dec and 03 Jan) so my group have scheduled back-to-back weekends on 10 and 17 January to get back into the swing of things.
The party are still deep in a #ghoul warren. I'm hoping to introduce two NPCs this coming session (in the warren), both of whom have been name-dropped in the past. One may not make it through the session in one piece, but we'll see how that goes.
In regards to my #P1e #Ustalav campaign, it took me a bit more than month, but I did "fancy-up" my #ghoul warren map today so it's more readable. I basically colored in all the wall areas with black ink so it's easier to differentiate tunnels from the space between tunnels. In hindsight I should have used thinned black paint, as the ink I used was drying very fast, but hindsight is 20/20, and it looks a lot better than it did.

I finished reading Master of Devils by Dave Gross. It's the second novel of Count Varian Jeggare and his fiend-blooded bodyguard Radovan. (The first in the series is Prince of Wolves.)
Master of Devils is 399 pages and I read the last 200 pages in one session, so I was very into it. Haven't read a novel that fast in many years.
I look forward to the next #Jeggare / #Radovan book but it's not next in my queue.

Got #PathfinderRPG stuff from Humble Bundle.
Initial thoughts, as someone who's mostly focused on #dungeonsanddragons:
1) While I like the fact that the absolute core of the game is the usual player/DM/monster books, the idea of having a Beginner Box (with abridged rules, pre-rolled characters, intro adventure stuff) is actually pretty neat. Reminds me of the BECMI D&D's Basic Set.
2) Oooh yeah you can see this game's heritage from D&D 3.5 (*). If the idea was to start from there and keep fixing the stuff for the better, well, yeah, it shows. I have seen a lot of stuff I like so far!
(*) D&D 3e is actually the D&D edition I spent most time poring over because Neverwinter Nights was based on that and I dabbled on creating stuff for that back in the day!

The campaign is delayed until 03 January now. The party are deep in a ghoul warren. They're facing off with a pair of ghasts. Someone is yelling to be released from a stone sarcophagus in the chamber. They're avoiding a golem in another chamber.

I just finished reading the novel Worldwound Gambit by @robindlaws.
I hit a bit of a slow part in the middle but I think this was because I had a gap in my reading and I may have re-read the bulk of a chapter to get back on track. It picked up after that and kept going. I read the last quarter of the book in two sessions over three days, which is a good pace for me. I found the ending quite satisfying.
