hide with Spread Beaverが、ライブ映像作品『REPSYCLE THE REPSYCLED』を7月1日に発売することが決定した。 同作は、hideさんの生誕60周年記念スペシャルBOX『REPSYCLE 〜hide 60th Anniversary Special Box〜』のリリースを記念して、昨年5月2日、3日の2日間にわたり東京体育館で開催されたワンマンライブの模様を収録した2枚組Blu-ray作品。 ライブには、hide with Spread Beaverのほか、スペシャルゲストとして PATA （ X JAPAN ）と木村世治（ZEPPET STORE）が参加。『REPSYCLE』に収録された最新リマスター版のオリジナルアルバム3枚から構築されたセットリストは、2日間を通して完結するという特別な構成で披露され、hideさんのボーカルとオリジナルメンバーによる生演奏の共演が実現した。 パッケージには、『REPSYCLE 〜hide 60th Anniversary Special Box〜』および、同BOXから5月2日にCD単品としても発売されるオリジナルアルバム3作のリマスター盤に収録されなかった楽曲11曲を、最新リマスタリングで収録したスペシャルCD『REPSYCLE＋』を同梱。さらに、未発表のデモ音源「TECHNO POP」がボーナストラックとして収録される。同楽曲は1997年制作のデモ音源データをもとに、追加のフレーズなどは加えず当時の素材のみで再編集、再ミックスされた音源となっている。

I spent this evening trying to get my physical retro PC, a Pentium 166MHz running Windows 98 SE, to connect to an 80GB IDE harddisk. The BIOS seems to be limited to a maximum of 8GB, but in the end I managed to get it working. I needed to use Ontrack's Disk Manager 2000 to install a DDO driver.
I guess I became too lazy! Emulating old hardware is so much more convenient than dealing with real-world limitations like this. 😅
