This week I am the 'featured writer' on the Just Write Porto substack at https://justwriteporto.substack.com/p/featured-writer-judy-backhouse. Just Write Porto is the writer community that I belong to which runs a number of different writing groups. I convene their Monday Morning Writers group which has been a great source of inspiration, encouragement and friendship.

I celebrated the launch of my first novel, Well Housed, at a lovely party last week. The event was MC'd by my wonderful son, Andrew. The upshot was that we sold all the books I had! We also had a lively discussion about how cities might operate in the future. Thanks to all who cheered me on through the four years it took to write this book.
