first computer was a Commodore 64, and learned *nix before I knew DOS. Lucky I was giving great opportunities w/o a college degree.

Moved from Novell networks to Firewalls in the "late 1990s" and finally found a home in Cyber Security.

I still like to spin up VMs to play with tools and scripts, although I'm a SecOps manager. I'm a firm believer in #scripts for making your life easier. My default language is #bash or #php - python drives me crazy with forced indentions - I love a good one-liner.

I enjoy helping others find their way in the security fields because there's a lot of room here and we need smart and driven people.

Spent the last 4 years learning French as a side passion and enjoy making connections from that.

Although I've been pretty quiet on the bird site, I've been invested in people's lives and hope to continue that here.
