Get ready for a new iteration of V11 x Nospray, your place to be if you’re in need of some seriously hard-hitting punk. Bruises and lost teeth may apply! For this edition we’re bringing in a very special combination of bands: FAZE from Montreal, Canada and Mini Skirt from the Northern region of New South Wales in Australia. They will meet at V11, where their joyous rendezvous will result in a earth-shaking show that of the energy of two colliding continents.

FAZE
This band originated as a menagerie of a not-quite-supergroup, created to address the gaps in the Montreal music scene. Comprised of members from diverse musical backgrounds—crust, hardcore, punk, and psych—their sound embodies the chaotic energy of a relentless snowstorm, with a brass trombone soaring overhead. Combining driving hardcore punk with tinges of psych elements they craft a sound that is melded, born not borrowed. Not only do they capture the essence of the city, but the members also actively contribute to its vibrant culture from multiple perspectives. With two albums released and tours across various countries, Faze represents the spirit of Montreal, alongside the city’s hardcore punk scene.

Mini Skirt
Northern New South Wales band Mini Skirt play Aussie pub punk that captures the climate of current-day Australia, things aren’t always picturesque and idyllic; the vocals are urgent and frustrated while the music has a rawness and melody sonically painting a picture of the hope through the struggle.

I don't know how these peaches were not already eviscerated by yellow jackets and birds.

This tree was infested with some tan colored yeast-like growth the past few years. The aggressive pruning might have fixed that but also the weather has been ideal; dry and hot for about two months straight.

If you have never tried a peach sangria do yourself that favor. Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling are solid options as the base wine.
