Roma, 22 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Road è un distretto di innovazione costruito all'interno del Gazometro di Roma, nel luogo in cui nacque una delle prime forme di innovazione energetica della città. Qui nei primi del '900 nacque il primo impianto a gas alimentato a carbone". Così Claudio Granata, presidente di Road, in occasione del terzo anniversario di Rome Advanced District, la rete di imprese composta da Eni, Acea, Autostrade per l'Italia, Bridgestone, Cisco, eFm, Gruppo Fs e Nextchem, che ha presentato presso il Gazometro di Roma i risultati conseguiti nel primo triennio di attività e le direttrici strategiche per il periodo 2026–2029.
Granata ha richiamato il valore simbolico e industriale dell'area, sottolineando il legame tra passato e futuro: “Siamo tornati dopo decenni nello stesso punto di partenza, per ripartire dalla transizione e dalla trasformazione energetica insieme alle imprese del distretto, che sono sia produttori sia consumatori di energia”. Il presidente ha evidenziato come, nei primi tre anni, il lavoro del distretto si sia concentrato soprattutto sullo sviluppo di competenze e progetti pilota: “Abbiamo sviluppato esperienze su ambiente, sicurezza, infrastrutture e mobilità, in particolare sulla mobilità autonoma, che è uno dei laboratori più avanzati su cui stiamo lavorando”.
Parlando del modello operativo, Granata ha sottolineato l'approccio pragmatico di Road – Rome Advanced District: “Abbiamo adottato un metodo molto operativo, simile a quello di un'impresa, con un lavoro sulle competenze che ha portato alla mappatura di circa 1.000 profili professionali”. Secondo il presidente, l'evoluzione del lavoro e delle competenze porterà a figure sempre più ibride: “Stanno tornando centrali discipline come biologia, fisica, ingegneria ma anche filosofia e socialità. In futuro potremo vedere figure come l'ingegnere-filosofo, capace di unire competenze tecniche e impatto sociale”.

This is what Claudio Granata, president of Road, said on the occasion of the third anniversary of Rome Advanced District, the network of companies composed of Eni, Acea, Autostrade per l'Italia, Bridgestone, Cisco, eFm, Gruppo Fs and Nextchem, who presented at the Gazometro in Rome the results achieved in the first three years of activity and the strategic directions for the 2026-2029 period.
Granata recalled the symbolic and industrial value of the area, emphasizing the link between past and future: “We have returned after decades to the same starting point to restart from the transition and energy transformation together with the companies in the district, which are both producers and consumers of energy.” The president highlighted that in the first three years, the district’s work had focused primarily on the development of skills and pilot projects: “We have developed experiences in the areas of environment, safety, infrastructure, and mobility, particularly autonomous mobility, which is one of the most advanced laboratories we are working on.”
Speaking about the operational model, Granata emphasized the pragmatic approach of Road – Rome Advanced District: “We have adopted a very operational method, similar to that of a company, with a focus on skills that has led to the mapping of approximately 1,000 professional profiles.” According to the president, the evolution of work and skills will lead to increasingly hybrid figures: “Disciplines such as biology, physics, engineering are returning to be central, but also philosophy and sociability. In the future, we may see figures like the engineer-philosopher, capable of uniting technical skills and social impact.”

AGI - Le groupe Maire a annoncé que sa filiale Nextchem a remporté un important contrat de 485 millions d’euros pour participer à la construction de trois grands complexes industriels en Afrique de l’Ouest. Deux de ces sites seront consacrés à la production d’engrais (urée), tandis que le troisième produira à la fois de l’ammoniac et du méthanol, deux substances largement utilisées dans l’industrie chimique et agricole. Nextchem fournira les technologies, les plans techniques et certains équipements clés nécessaires à la réalisation de ces projets. Une première partie du montant (10 millions d’euros) correspond à des études d’ingénierie déjà lancées. Le reste sera confirmé lorsque la décision finale d’investissement sera prise par le client.
Les deux usines d’engrais auront une capacité totale de production de plus de 3 millions de tonnes d’urée par an. Elles comprendront plusieurs unités destinées à produire l’hydrogène et l’ammoniac nécessaires à la fabrication de l’urée. L’objectif est d’assurer une production à grande échelle tout en améliorant l’efficacité énergétique et en réduisant la consommation de ressources. Le troisième complexe produira plus de 900.000 tonnes d’ammoniac et plus de 600.000 tonnes de méthanol par an. Une partie des installations sera conçue pour produire ces deux substances de manière flexible, en fonction des besoins. Les technologies utilisées ont été développées par GasConTec, une société du groupe Nextchem spécialisée dans les solutions à faibles émissions de carbone pour l’hydrogène et le méthanol. Fabio Fritelli, directeur général de Nextchem, a qualifié ce contrat d’"historique", soulignant qu’il confirme le savoir-faire du groupe dans toute la chaîne de production, de l’hydrogène aux engrais, et renforce sa position comme partenaire de référence pour de grands projets industriels intégrés.

Due di questi siti saranno dedicati alla produzione di fertilizzanti (urea), mentre il terzo produrrà sia ammoniaca che metanolo, due sostanze ampiamente utilizzate nell'industria chimica e agricola. Nextchem fornirà le tecnologie, i progetti tecnici e alcune attrezzature chiave necessarie per il completamento di questi progetti. Una parte iniziale del contratto (10 milioni di euro) copre gli studi ingegneristici già avviati. La parte restante sarà confermata una volta che il cliente avrà preso la decisione finale sull'investimento.
I due impianti di fertilizzanti avranno una capacità produttiva totale di oltre 3 milioni di tonnellate di urea all'anno. Includeranno diverse unità per la produzione di idrogeno e ammoniaca necessari per la produzione di urea. L'obiettivo è garantire una produzione su larga scala migliorando al contempo l'efficienza energetica e riducendo il consumo di risorse. Il terzo complesso produrrà oltre 900.000 tonnellate di ammoniaca e oltre 600.000 tonnellate di metanolo all'anno. Una parte dell'impianto sarà progettata per produrre queste due sostanze in modo flessibile, a seconda della domanda.
Le tecnologie utilizzate sono state sviluppate da GasConTec, azienda del Gruppo Nextchem specializzata in soluzioni a basse emissioni di carbonio per idrogeno e metanolo.
