Aamjiwnaang First Nation has filed a lawsuit, claiming Ineos, the plant next to the First Nation that processes and stores benezene, knowingly exposed people to dangerous levels of the cancer-causing chemical. Ineos has not filed a statement of defence or responded to a request for comment, and the allegations have not been tested in court.
