Between the beginning and the end, the Wigner semicircle is flattened more and more into a semi ellipse, until all notes play at the same time. Another way to look at this is as an 8 channel polyrhythmic sequencer.

The main synth is the semi-modular #Behringer #Neutron which is a #monophonic #synth so once all notes are triggered at the same time, only one sounds, the lowest, achieving convergence. It takes 5 minutes of polyrhythmic phasing to get to that point. #eurorack #semimodular #music

I feel now that #Moog has made their proper #analog polysynth, it's probably a good time for a new #monophonic 19" rack size #desktop synthesiser instrument, a modern version of Slimphatty or, even better, Voyager RM. One knob per function workhorse with 2 or 3 VCOs, MIDI, and a preset memory. I mean Minitaur/Sirin is cool and all but so many of their functions are buried under the #interface. If they do that I hope they'll add Slimphatty style LED-rings, these are very helpful.
