Dem Irrtum aufgesessen seiend, in der Werkstatt sei es noch kühl, habe ich meinen #Roland #JDXA Plastikmüllbomber, pardon, #Synthesizer repariert.

Er leidet unter dem #IC10-Problem: Ein kleiner Spannungswandler auf der grünen Platine, auf Platz IC10, überhitzt… und das Problem wird über die Jahre schlimmer. Beim letzten Konzert ist mir die Kiste über 10× mit großem Getöse live ausgestiegen.

Die neue Platine hat schlappe 553€ gekostet und wird das Problem Erfahrungsberichten zufolge etwa für 5 Jahre lösen, bis der Fehler wieder auftritt, von dem der Hersteller angeblich keine Kenntnis hat und vor allem wohl kein Bedürfnis, ihn zu beheben.

5 Jahre Zeit, mir zu überlegen, wie ich das 1,5mm große Bauteil erfolgreich ersetzen kann durch eine neue Schaltung. Fast 2000€ hat dieses Instrument vor ca. 10 Jahren gekostet.

Sicher der letzte Synth von Roland für mich. Die neueren sind nur noch Remixes der immergleichen #ZenCore #Engine und so spannend wie eingeschlafene Füße und auch in etwa so belastbar?!

Die letzten Vorbereitungen am Stand @FrOSCon laufen. In Kürze könnt ihr euch hier kreativ austoben (v.l.n.r):

- Spielt verschiedene #Synthesizer Sounds mit #Zynthian

Surge XT question: Is this a bug? I can assign mpe pressure to fx send, but it has no effect. Would be cool to do this per note, but I guess this is a monophonic parameter? Or do I simply misunderstand the concept?
