Hier mal zwei Aufnahmen von heute Abend. Farbe und SW mit jeweils knapp 40 Megapixel (PixelShift). Schwarz-Weiß gefällt mir mehr, da hätten sicher auch 20 Megapixel gereicht. 😀

Insgesamt musste ich ja sowieso runter rechnen, damit ich sie hier auf Mastodon zeigen kann. 😂

Also .... wofür braucht man nochmal viele Megapixel? 🤔

Well, my last test prints with the material combination of #PETG and #BVOH (for the support interfaces) turned out very well, after proper drying of both filaments and printing with a single nozzle #BambuLab #X1C. It took quite a bit of fine-tuning in the settings, but now it seems to be working. I am now printing one of the two complicated models in its entirety, the monitor stand for the #NeXT #MegaPixel display.

Was dabei auch aufgefallen ist… die 2000er und frühen 2010er waren eine ganz, ganz furchtbare Zeit für die #Fotografie.

70er, 80er? Da hat man analog #Fotos gemacht. Film war teuer, Kameras auch. Der Vorgang brauchte seine Zeit - weil alles mechanisch.

Klar sind da nicht alle Bilder toll - die Technik war ja aus heutiger Sicht Schrott - aber im Schnitt sind deutlich mehr der überlieferten Bilder brauchbar als heute.

90er? Billige-Plastik-Knippsen sind überall. Noch immer Film, noch immer teuer pro Bild, aber mehr Leute machen mehr Fotos und keiner denkt über Beleuchtung oder Brennweite nach. Uff!

Und dann kommt die große Schwemme der schlechten Digitalkameras. Alles rauscht, alles wackelt, alles hat 20x Zoom aber keinerlei optische Qualität. Sensorgröße? Warum sollte man darüber nachdenken, wenn man lieber über #Megapixel reden kann?

Und dann wurde es noch schlimmer…

Plötzlich hat jedes Telefon eine #Kamera eingebaut! Und keine macht jemals erträgliche Fotos! Nicht mal in hellstem Tageslich, ohne Zoom!

Erst ab gegen 2015 wird es wieder merklich besser.

I am running into issues with posting pictures on pixelfed. There is a size limitation. It says that the limit is 5000 kilobytes, but it appears that it is really a 5 megapixel limitation. Standards like jpeg and HEIC compress 9 megapixel images into image files that take less than 3 MB, so the wording is wrong. Please use megapixel instead of a byte measure if that is what the real limitation is. #pixelfed #limitation #megapixel #usethecorrectterms #jonlh

OMG! The #resin test print for my #NeXT #MegaPixel display from #JLCPCB just arrived. And the quality is SOOO much better compared to the #FDM printed part! Damn, I need a resin printer... 🙈
