Eintrag 5 im #Hobbytagebuch : bin seit ein paar Tagen nicht dazu gekommen einen Eintrag zu posten.
Hab einen #oldhammer Orkpanzer gedruckt und auch etwas Farbe auf meine #Orks gebracht. Das Hotend von meinem #P1S ist gekracht. Hab das zum Anlass genommen und die Maschine einmal sauber gemacht und eine kleine Wartung durchgeführt. Zur Zeit läuft er mit 0,6mm aber das 0,4mm Hotend werde ich versuchen zu reparieren. Hab noch Teile zum tauschen.

I'd like to think this Voxel Vento filter I added is doing some additional good over what is in the printer already (I say, looking at the unfiltered top vent that flips open during most printing to shed excess heat). It does increase the noise levels a bit with the fans ramping up harder to maintain the target internal cooling (and messages from the system to system saying as much). We'll see if the white filter discolors over time.

458 hours on the #BambuLab H2S so far and the second time I've been prompted to conduct lubrication and cleaning from its in-built schedule. Definitely needed it.

Been printing kilos of Sunlu matte black PLA on my #gridfinity project and either that or typical abrasion dust off the belts in the machine make quite the mess. Between the dust and the haze I've cleaned off the inside glass more than once, I'm glad I added extra filtration on my system's rear vent.

What's going wrong today with my #3DPrinting ?
I've printed this model before, on the same printer (a #BambuLab P1S), and I'm not aware that I changed any settings in #OrcaSlicer

The wall loops are messy, the rest of the infill doesn't seem to even reach the walls...

Any suggestions?

I had the opportunity to try a #BambuLab printer at the #FabLabHH today and damn… it sucks!

Refused to accept my filament for solid 10 minutes (hotend sensor malfunction?), print failed (Spaghetti Detection didn't recognise anything) and upon the next attempt the printer crashed (software).

They seem to have problems with it all the time (it crashed the nozzle into the bed at least once, looked awful). Not even remotely as "easy" as the aggressive influencer campaigning suggests.
