I am running into issues with posting pictures on pixelfed. There is a size limitation. It says that the limit is 5000 kilobytes, but it appears that it is really a 5 megapixel limitation. Standards like jpeg and HEIC compress 9 megapixel images into image files that take less than 3 MB, so the wording is wrong.
