The final test weapon I made so far is the War Hammer. 🔨
It has a slow but deadly 4 combo, a ground slam to push back enemies and a whirlwind attack that lets you move while swinging all over!

Just pop 'em full of arrows, dash to create space or shove an arrow into their chest to stun and then dash away.

First the weapons. Let's start with your very first weapon the Sword & Shield. ⚔🛡
Infinite combo slashes with sword, raise the shield to protect yourself and dash forward with shield bash to make some space from the test enemy cubes.

Alright. Solo #gamedev is hard but not impossible. I've done tools/gameplay programming, visual frameworks and content pipeline.

More #Blender Geometry Node PCG testing stuff. Wanted to make a simple low-poly tree creator and even though it's messy, needs more exposed parameters and some additional work to not require post-processing (UV stuff) before adding it to the forest from yesterday, but for a day's work it's not bad.

Started testing some PCG methods for level design with #Blender Geometry Nodes. Pretty cool for a handful of nodes! Paired with Godot import scripts it's going to be a very good pipeline. Thanks @passivestar for the idea! #gamedev #indiedev #mazeblade

Sometime in December, I started working on a fantasy arena fighting rogue-lite with the working title "MazeBlade".

Now that all the basic combat systems are in place, I can finally show you something. Next I'll start working on the gameplay loop and populating it with enemies, rooms, levels, items, weapons, rewards, unlocks and so much more.

Can't wait to show you all the cool things once they are not only on paper and spreadsheets.
