#macbook pro late2013 is the dark ages of replacing parts. for the m.2 ssd you need an adapter, fuck apples propriertary shit. the #RAM is soldered onto the #LogicBoard fuck you #apple
its super annoying since #kubuntu needs almost 2gig right out of the box. having firefox open with a couple of tabs and RAM usage goes up to 3.4gig of 3.7 available. its still in very good condition but now im thinking about getting a used thinkpad for more RAM what a waste.

Does anybody know of anyone that repairs #apple #macbookpro logic boards I attempted to replace my keyboard , which was a grave mistake, I broke off the cooling fan connector and I broke off the Wi-Fi connector and a new #LogicBoard is $250. Thank god I have the #thinkpad for a backup.

Honestly if it's not one thing, it was another. I replaced my dad's #logicboard in his #MacbookAir only to realize the #battery was dying. I then replaced the battery only to realize that the #fan was dying. I just ordered a new fan and a set of bottom screws. I really hope that there's no more replacements coming. 😂
