Our fun today is a trip to Hamburg. The bus is on time, but the train is delayed by twenty minutes, as it had to drive through a diversion. Plenty of seats, since three ICEs to Hamburg run through within fifteen minutes of each other.

NOT GUILTY
Recently, I have come to see taking one’s own life not as a moral failure, but as the result of unbearable confusion.
Awareness suffers, then mistakes the body, the life, the object, for the cause of the suffering.
The pain becomes so convincing that the instrument is blamed for the music passing through it.
But the body is not guilty.
The person is not guilty.
Pain can narrow the whole world down to one brutal conclusion.
And that conclusion may still be an error.
Not a sin.
Not weakness.
An error in awareness.
