Hey #WritingCommunity Did you know that there exists an organisation called Bookshare that makes books accessible for people who have whatever problems to read the written word? I have learned about them from @Fragglemuppet and donated my epub to them.
(They are permitted to do what they are doing by U.S. copyright law because they only make the files available in accessible formats for people who fall under the ADA, but of course, if you donate your files you got a higher chance of bringing your writing to their brains)

#Today I just heard back from bookshop .org's representative regarding listing our indie ebooks on their site. I am told a direct upload option will not be available until 2026, but, for those of us on D2D, bookshop will become available as a new distribution channel within the next couple of months. We should expect to hear from D2D at some point.

#Today just set up a bookshop.org affiliate account for my little direct buy store since they announced they now carry ebooks. They didn't let me post my site anywhere. I had to create a specific bookshop sales site. I guess I will need to link my ebooks to there? I am currently sitting in account verification so will let you know if this works.
