Unpopular take: Attacking #Iran at this time is not per se a terrible idea. The regime is incredibly weak and the Iranian ppl are begging for our support in helping them throw off the terror mullahs and help them build a free nation.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a theoretical exercise: how the war is conducted, its aims, and its consequences matter.
Let’s face it: Bibi and Red Don are the last politicians you’d choose if your goal is a liberal-democratic Iran. These two criminals spend most of their time trying to destroy their own #democratic institutions.
The mango Mussolini is working hard to create a new Iranian (probably right-wing, even theocratic) kleptocracy he can leverage for self-enrichment.
To achieve this goal, he will sacrifice American lives, Israeli lives, and certainly innocent Iranian lives without a second’s thought.
The ONLY acceptable outcome of this conflict is a free, democratic Iran.
