Judge Williams’s decision came in response to court papers filed on Wednesday by a bipartisan group of 35 former federal #judges who urged her to bring the case back to life & dig into the details of the agreement to settle it.

The former judges said that Trump’s “#settlement” agreement raised serious questions about his “candor toward the court & manipulation of the judicial system.”

The 35 fmr #judges, appointed by presidents of both parties, wrote in their filing in federal court in Florida that the plaintiffs misled the court by not disclosing any #settlement in their notice to voluntarily dismiss the suit.
