My best friend, Willow, is a neurodivergent trans woman of color struggling to afford basic living necessities in a developing nation. She is in dire straits while regularly receiving harassment as well as assault from ex classmates and ex coworkers every time she goes in the public eye. There are truly no proper LGBTQ+ resources in Bolivia for her at this time and nothing for autistic people with emotional trauma.

Her family is abusive and unsupportive. She is living in an abandoned home with no warm or clean water, no consistent electricity, holes in the roof, faulty wiring, and no proper bed. She is unable to work a conventional job. Her goal is to reach the US so she can receive proper therapy, support, and resources. She is selling what little she has left just to afford food or wash her clothes. The sooner she can safely move to the US, the better.
