Cracked open my homemade sauerkraut. Was amazing. Just tasted so good.
Probably needs a couple more days (it's winter), but I couldn't wait any more.
Fermenting some baby cucumbers. Been a while since I made any - looking forward to trying them next weekend.
The saltwater / brine contains a few sprigs of dill, some sliced garlic, a few juniper berries and a couple of Javanese long peppercorns.
Jars on a towel because every time I overfill and I never learn not to. Better safe than sorry 😄
Trying out this cw feature. Here’s my pickles! This is what they looked like on Tuesday before I added the weights and lid. Second photo is this afternoon 48hrs later, the brine is getting cloudy and it smells AMAZING.
