So my trusty Z-Coil sandals decided Murphy really IS the law when their fore soles decided to give without warning… the day before I returned from Portland, OR.

By sheer luck found a shoe repair place in Vancouver, WA that not only fix both overnight for a reasonable price, they polished and oiled them. Damn skippy I tipped heavily if only for saving me from tromping through airports with flappy bits of rubber.

Wow. My super fund wrote to advise I'd been overpaid. Just over $200. Bugger. Oh well I guess they'll recover it from my investment or super pension. Grumble. What can you do? 🤷‍♂️ <reads on>"As this error occurred on our watch, we're not requesting reimbursement from you."..."No action is required by you, and there will be no change to your future pension payments. We've since resolved the system error to ensure it doesn't happen again." WHAT? <reads and rereads over and over>

Apparently it's a Christmas bonus 😎😁

I still want them to completely divest from fossil fuels, but I must say this is excellent service from a superannuation company.
