I'd recommend having some fun with Godot regardless, to get a new perspective of how you could be doing your things.
I love Godot and think it's the most elegantly designed engine ever (and I'm totally biased, lol).

Okay! As of now all the content I wanted to create for "Pew Pew Pew: Danger Zone!" has been created 🥰
For the rest of today and all of tomorrow the plan is testing, testing, testing, improving some things a bit and ironing out any kinks I find.
I'm beyond proud that I so far actually did manage to pull this off the way I planned it, for my first jam ever. Feels amazing. 😄
Got a new character animation knocked out, so now you can fight some suits. I love the way they tuck their tie in as they respawn...
Anybody else feel like they have only a few hours left to work on this jam? Once #TearsOfTheKingdom lands, I'm not going to stand a chance...
First round of a #BeatEmUp controller, AI, and animations in place! Feeling pretty good about where it's at, kind of fun to toss these goons around.
