Context: two surgeries under #generalanesthesia with mixture of implicit and explicit recall. Induction with #propofol, maintenance with #sevoflurane. I'm historically extremely resistant to GABAergic drugs, so my experience was unpleasant. Being #paralyzed with insufficient #analgesia is quite horrible.

Aside from that, I perceive the infliction of #amnesia (or attempt) to be a form of psychological violence. Probably because of other trauma. In the end, I only remembered the bad parts. 😭🤕
