Zuerst ist der #Nintendo-#Emulator #iGBA erschienen - die dreiste #GBA4iOS-Kopie wurde jedoch schon nach wenigen Stunden von #Apple aus dem #AppStore entfernt. Wenige Tage später wurde der Emulator #Delta veröffentlicht, der hierzulande über den Drittanbieter-Marktplatz @altstore verfügbar gemacht wird.

早前一款名為 iGBA: GBA & GBC Retro Emulator 的遊戲模擬器於 App Store 上架，讓玩家可免費於 iPhone 及 iPad 上暢玩復古遊戲。不過 Apple 卻於周一（15 日）將 iGBA 下架，涉嫌違反 App Store 的垃圾郵件及版權相關的審查指南。iGBA: GBA & GBC Retro Emulator 是自 Apple 4 月 5 日宣布支援模擬應用程式後，首款於 App Store 上推出的遊戲模擬器應用程式。iGBA 讓 iPhone 用戶可透過載入從網路下載的免費 ROM 來玩 Game Boy 遊戲，當中包括《Pokémon》及《薩爾達傳說》系列遊戲。此外 iGBA 亦支援保存狀態、快轉及觸覺回饋等功能，即使功能不如 Delta，但因較易下載且運作良好而吸引不少人使用。不過根據外媒報道，iGBA 是開發商 Riley Testut 的開源 GBA4iOS 應用程式的山寨版本。雖然 iGBA 在上架後快速登上 App Store 榜首，但被不少人在社交網站上抱怨 iGBA  公然抄襲 GBA4iOS。Riley Testut 上周六（13 日）於 Threads 發文指沒有向任何人授權，但充斥着廣告及追蹤的山寨版卻登上排行榜榜首。▵iGBA介面（上）及 GBA4iOS 介面（下）圖片來源：The Verge資料來源：MobileSyrup、MacRumors

It looks like the #iGBA GB/GBC/GBA #emulator had a short life on the App Store, it’s no longer available. It looks like emu64xl is still up, so I would bet this is due to it not following the GPLv2 license of #GBA4iOS that it ripped its code from. Hopefully someone can bring a good #GameBoy emulator to the App Store soon
