The so-called “mothers and fathers” of the constitution (Basic Law) of #Germany had a very clear understanding of our reason of state, the "#Staatsräson". Most Germans I know can recite it by heart:

"Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority."

Holocaust survivor Margot #Friedländer said it like this: "There is no Christian blood, there is no Jewish blood, there is no Arab blood - there is only human blood. Be human."

It is depressing that Germany's "reason of state" is now defined as solidarity with suspected war criminals and perpetrators of genocide. With states, no longer with humans.

And that the morally depraved political “elite”, including the @Bundesregierung has fallen for the delusion that the dried blood of a historical genocide can be washed off their hands with the fresh blood of a new one.

Cheap verbal "regrets", and "adminitions", and "demands" from these hypocritical leaders go hand in hand with further deliveries of material and weapons. With the renunciation of sanctions. With the denunciation of all those who demand consequences for war crimes. With the express wish to invite the suspected war criminal #Netanyahu to #Germany.

Our country has not the faintest idea of how it is judged by the world outside its own bubble.
