Summer is a good time for kids to learn new things.

So my 15yo & I sat down and watched a 1967 #FiringLine in which #WilliamFBuckleyJr and #RobertVaughn debated American involvement in the Vietnam War.

We paused periodically for questions and discussion. This clip was the highlight that got me up on my feet clapping.

It's Ginsberg on Firing Line debating with Bill Buckley. It was recorded on May 7, 1968—a heady time in world politics & social rebellion. Ginsberg, as expected, was fascinating & charismatic.
