because I feel the need to share my (self-inflicted!) pain ... I'm working on a wrap-around shawl. It needs to be, oh, 240-250cm from tip to tip. I am making it with crochet cotton thread and a 1.75mm hook.

I am familiar with the process of weaving and this looks like an excellent way to revive worn clothing (and not add to the problem of waste)

After many years of making fibre art (mainly crochet amigurumi) for my family, my friends and myself, I’m in the process of creating a studio named Srigurumi¹, where people can order hand-made creations (custom-made according to one’s wishes or things I have already made) and learn to crochet 🎉
