I just love when you take a photo that had the perfect lighting situation!

This was taken at Torontos 400 acre High Park, which is just around the corner from me, and over the years they’ve allowed most of it to revert back to it’s many natural habitats!

In this big city, we’re lucky to get access to such a beautiful space that offers up so many photo opportunities!

Scrat (from the “Ice Age” movies) would go crazy for these giant acorns! 😄

I just love putting nature inspired ornaments in my Christmas Tree or as a decoration around the house. Mine‘s hanging off my bedroom door knob!

My sister just loves her little drunken gnome village so much, that she introduced me to it three times!

It was her birthday this Thursday so I thought I’d help her add some magic to this little village of saucy gnomes!

It took me about six days
but I think I’m mostly done! I’d like to add some more greenery at the back, but that’s for another time😊

I just love this piece I up-cycled for a Valentines several years ago.

I’m on the fence with celebrating Valentines day, but having researched it’s history and reading about Lupercalia, the celebration that inspired Valentines day…I’m still on the fence!😆

The short story includes an animal sacrifice (something to do with twin babies being reared by a wolf), blood soaked strips of skin that imbue fertility, and raffle style pairing of single people for the festivities.

I thought I’d focus on the colour of the blood, and snow of the season.

I heavily adorned this bracelet with many varieties of hearts, including the sacrificial ‘droplets of blood’ with multiple ‘white as snow’ beads. It also includes three bells to keep away bad entities, as well as a star to remind the wearer to just ‘𝐵𝑒𝓁𝒾𝑒𝓋𝑒'!
