This is the biggest #mushroom cluster so far. Sorry, I can’t stop posting about this! It’s just so beautiful and fascinating.

Also, I’ve been looking through the mushroom hashtag and it’s mostly people identifying wild mushrooms which is great but it would be nice to see what others are growing and how it works in different regions. My buckets really started popping once the humidity returned, which is the point—growing what works easily in our climate. #gardening #zone10

Hello @jonathan. First off, I would like to wish you a happy belated birthday, my friend. Its great to hear that you got to talk to your kids and little Florence on your birthday. I am not the biggest fan of UEB myself, but I have to agree with you on the issue with the splitting of syllables, which you brought up on the Mosen Explosion show that aired on 4/24. Also, I am glad to see that For All Mankind is back with a new season. I had finally caught up with the first 4 seasons as of November or December of last year, and I am slowly getting up to speed on the current season. On another note, I am sad to hear about Barry Manilow. I do not know very many of his songs, nor have I attended any of his concerts, but it is still unfortunate to hear that he is in poor health. Let’s hope that he gets better soon, so that he can go back to doing live shows. Who knows, perhaps you and Bonnie might be at one of those shows. Finally, I hope all is well with you, Bonnie, and Eclipse over in Baltimore.

I just finished my latest read, Strip Tease by Carl Hiaasen. I find his books hilarious, and this one is no exception. Like all his stories, it’s rooted firmly in Florida. The main character, Erin Grant, is a former FBI secretary who loses her job after her ex‑husband — a perpetually drugged, wheelchair‑stealing mess — gets arrested. To support herself and her daughter, she takes a job dancing at a gentleman’s club.

One night, a drunken congressman, David Dilbeck, jumps onstage and starts beating a customer with a champagne bottle. That single moment sets off a chain reaction of blackmail threats, murder, and a parade of slippery, bumbling criminals and political fixers. Meanwhile, Erin’s inept, scheming ex‑husband is determined to keep custody of their daughter, despite being the last person who should.

Overall, I thought the book was a lot of fun.
