Tesla's Dog Mode Is Reportedly Totally Busted

Tesla, according to the user, replied that Dog Mode’s issues were a “known characteristic of current firmware,” that the latest OTA update did spark “a firmware issue with dog mode” and that owners should “please refrain from using dog mode for the time being.”

I really don’t understand why #EV cars don’t all support #dogMode. For us it’s close to being the make or break feature. Manufacturers are all playing around with 0–100 times and charging speeds and whatnot, but that simple feature, pure software, is what keeps us looking back at #Tesla. It beggars belief that nobody else does it. Pro tip: call it #catMode and you’d have us signing papers.
