My own pack rat tendencies have increased over the past few years. We had abysmal internet service and 4G/5G coverage, so the constant move towards more streaming and less locally stored media, particularly with Apple Music, meant sometimes having no access at all. Now, if the internet goes out or I’ve no cell service, all my music is still on my phone.
